I went to Prague last week. Had some nice days there with my girlfriend. i poked round the antique shops, bought silly stuff and had some Budwar. I think Sune would like this one supermarket with Budwar in any imaginable packaging. from small 0,33 bottles to 50ltr kegs, they had it all.And it costs next to nothing.. A little trip to Chezk republic before the Krankenhaus kickoff party next year maybe?

I found an old phone i have some plans for, could be fun. Its absolutely good looking isnt it?

Back home in Bergen i found some vw-modelcars in a antiqueshop today. The one in Kong Oscarsgate. This polizei samba was pretty neat but abit expensive. if u got some cash burning in your pocket, go go!

On a trip to Ikea i stumbled upon this beauty in the parkinglot. Looks like it drove head on into someones rock hard gigantic ass. Not mine, i promise. Nice repair with some plastic bags to keep the water out.

A little on the down side was that when we finally got to go se the nice RZR garage at Pepperkakebyen it was.. well.. not so nice anymore. Either some stupid kid broke it as he stole the Ghia or it has just collapsed by itself. Well well, it stood for a few weeks!

After this depressing news it was sweet that a guy i know called me up and asked if i wanted a vw-waterpump! Ive never been one to turn down free/cheap stuff so i said, Hey! When can i pick it up?
With some kind help from my brother and Jon-Andreas we brought it from �sane to Krankenhaus. Its a 1974 Ziegler with a 34hp engine. Would be fun to fire it up.. but how? will have to do some research.. Think of the concept of spraying water on that annoying guy next door with a vw-powered firehose next time he complains on something..

The quality, I don`t know how is, but it looks pretty nice on the pictures!
This is my old 1979 bay. The owners now often go to Egypt and they have gotten the bus overhauled down there aswell.

Alfred`s got a new life!
And I guess he`s traveled to more countries now than I ever have done.. :)

Svein has been stalled for about a year in his quest to finish the 65 Microbus which goeas by the name "Bl�ygen". Following relocation and storage at the SolsVWerk facilities, the old bus is now nicely parked longside Tommy's latest aquisition! Good company and a cosy workshop will hopefully do the trick for the two buggers gone bussers!

Tommy has gone down the splitbus route - congratulations with the "new" panel! After a troublesome transport operation, it finally has ended in the Arna Bus Shelter! A lot of work is needed, but hey - you'll pull this "patina" project through, for sure!

New wheels

Mid America Motorworks has added some new wheels to their range of vw-parts.
They have designed a 4-lug wheel in some half hearted attempt at a ironcross design. Decide for yourself, really nice or just f*kin ugly?

After almost two years of looking through all my stuff for a dv-tape from BugIn #1 in Belgium i finally struck gold!!
My parents had tought it was one of theirs and had kept it in a unused camerabag all this time!
Very happy to have found it i went home to fix the powersupply on the computer i use for editing. Only to discover i had forgot the password.. and made it damn sure i couldnt get in without it. However, with the help of the ever fantastic internet i managed to make a boot cd with some very sneaky passworderasing features. And HEY! it seems like there might finally be some hope to se unique footage of a lowered -67 Singelcab making its way from Bergen to Paris!

Does anybody have the need of a new 1303 body and floorpan? Floorpan is rustfree and painted. Body is "rustfree" in the terms of cut out and treated. Not welded new parts in yet. Send me a mail to jonandreashs (a) gmail.com !

My 77 crew cab has been to Andys garage for some welding, and this week he finished the job!! That meant I had to get it moved to a new location for some bodywork and engine installment!

RZR-Dugnad!

After some ifs and buts the last few days, I got hold of a car-trailer at Nesttun. Henning came with his Toyota as tow car and Arve had the proper licence for the job. So we met up and started with picking up the pickup at Andys garage. We loaded it up and got on the road in good time to meet up with Sune, Svein and Marius at Hop station.

They joined us on the drive to the garage. Svein came in his freshly lowered bug.

Some people just don`t understand what to do when RZR are working on important stuff..
*Move that dull and sad family car of yours!!*

We had to get the bus up in some speed before we could push it into the garage. So no other than Arve was put behind the wheels. After all, he was already in there. And the man, not feeling to well, still came to help!
And it doesn`t look like the guys in the back are bored! ;)

First try got us this far.

And after a small break and a final push, the van sat nicely in the garage! And it was just barely it cleared the garage door. Nice!

Still not low enough, Svein?
